Thanks to a special partnership with Orange County Government, Recovery Connections has Certified Recovery Peer Specialists (CRPS) working with participants in the Ninth Judicial Circuit Court Problem Solving Court, which includes:
- Drug Court
- Mental Health Court
- Competency Court
- Dependency Court
- Veterans Treatment Court
As a critical part of the multidisciplinary team approach to treating people with substance use disorders who are involved in the criminal justice systems, our Justice Involved CRPS Team facilitates recovery support services for these court clients. Additionally, an important part of their role is attending court appointments with participants as an advocate who is in their corner.
