Recovery Support Services take place in our Recovery Community Centers in Orange and Seminole counties.

Our Certified Recovery Peer Specialists (CRPS) use their lived experience recovering from substance use disorder to help people struggling with substance use issues and seeking recovery. Peer specialists listen without judgment and use their stories and personal experience to empathize, inspire, and share hope.

At the initial meeting with a CRPS, program participants complete a Recovery Capital Scale (RCS) assessment which measures internal and external assets that contribute to recovery. Participants identify goals they want to achieve to improve their Recovery Capital.

These goals are incorporated into a written Recovery Management Plan. While the goals are self-directed, a CRPS is there to support the participant every step of the way. Recognizing that recovery is a life-long process, there is no time limit on how long a participant can engage in recovery support services.

Thanks to our generous community of supporters, all services are provided at no cost to participants.
